Yesterday was a sad day for Jayhawks all over the country. The University of Kansas was the number one over all seed going into the NCAA tournament this year and everyone had the highest of hopes. I was no different, I dreamed of the day when I could say I witnessed TWO National Championships. Unless you were in Lawrence, Kansas when they won two years ago, it's really indescribable. This loss was especially difficult for me being as that I am from Iowa and live an hour from the University of Northern Iowa. I felt like I tried to be a respectful looser, even though I was dying inside. UNI played a great game of basketball, and we...well we've seen better games. Even though it's over, KU basketball has given me so many memories in my four years here and I am eternally grateful.
